It depends on the situation, would need to know more information to be able to give you the correct answer, but i will go through the most common scenarios. These answers also apply to if you have run out of hours for your daily driving limit.

hi i had reached my 90 hrs driving when i was on road called yard and they sent out other driver . i am sure i should not have driven works van back to yard. is there a law saying i should not drive work van after 90 hrs driving time reached.
Found this in the blog post you answered, so the first scenario fits your question perfectly, i will attach rules and regulations later for you, so you have it in black and white.
    1. You have run out of hours, ie reached your 90 hours (Fortnightly Driving Limit) and cant get back to the depot, so work sends a company van or company car to meet up with you so the driver can meet you and swap vehicles.
The plain answer to this is no you cannot do it, the driver must also bring a 2nd person with him to drive the vehicle back, and you must be chauffered back to the depot. The only way you could drive the vehicle back, is if they gave it you to drive straight home and to keep the entire duration of your weekly rest.

    2. You have run out of hours, and your boss, wants you to complete one more run in a van.

If the driving is just for you to do extra work, for the company again the answer is NO, you have used your allocation of driving hours, and cannot continue to do further driving until you have completed your weekly rest.

Think this covers the main points given the limited information we have to work with, and if you post up any further information, then i will be more than happy to update with the best answer for you.
